David P. Kozinski received a Wilmington Award from Mayor Mike Purzycki for “excellence in the arts” in October. He has two full-length books of poems – “I Hear It the Way I Want It to Be,” which was a finalist for the Inlandia Institute’s Hillary Gravendyke Prize, and “Tripping Over Memorial Day” (both Kelsay Books). His chapbook, “Loopholes” (Broadkill Press) won the Dogfish Head Poetry Prize. Kozinski is poet in residence at Rockwood Park & Museum, near Wilmington, DE. He has been a Delaware Division of the Arts fellowship recipient and was Expressive Path’s Mentor of the Year in 2018.
Nyds Rivera is a queer, nonbinary, Latino writer and proud New Jersey resident. Their work has appeared in publications including Whale Road Review, The B’K, Colorado Review. They have received nominations for The Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, and they are a 2024 AWP Intro Journals Project winner. Intrigued by the “in-betweens,” his poetry explores place, culture, and how he’ll never quite find where he belongs. Online, he lurks on Twitter/X and Instagram as @nlriversss.
