Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Katie Budris holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Roosevelt University and a BA in English from Hope College. She is the author of two chapbooks of poetry: Mid-Bloom (2021) and Prague in Synthetics (2015), both available from Finishing Line Press. Her poems have appeared in literary journals including Border Crossing, Deep Wild Journal, Philadelphia Stories, River and South Review, and others. Currently, Katie is a Senior Lecturer in the Writing Arts Department at Rowan University where she serves as Program Coordinator for the Master of Arts in Writing, and as Editor-in-Chief of Glassworks literary magazine. She is a breast cancer survivor and volunteers as a Young Advocate with Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Katie lives in South Jersey with her husband, Chris, and their English Mastiff, Winnie. Sibelan Forrester is the host of the Mad Poets Society’s First Wednesday reading series. Her book Second-Hand Fate appeared in 2016 from Parnilis Media, and she has published translations of fiction, poetry, and scholarly prose from Croatian, Russian, Serbian and Ukrainian. In her day job, she teaches Russian language and literature at Swarthmore College.

Alison Lubar teaches high school English by day and yoga by night. They are a queer, nonbinary, mixed-race femme whose life work has evolved into bringing mindfulness practices to young people.  Their work has been nominated for the Pushcart & BotN, and they’re the author of four chapbooks: Philosophers Know Nothing About Love (Thirty West Publishing House, 2022), queer feast (Bottlecap Press, 2022), sweet euphemism (CLASH!, 2023), and It Skips a Generation (Stanchion, 2023).
